Poojalena Āranya Sēnāsanaya is located in a very quiet and beautiful area of ​​Sinharaja Forest Reserve near Baduraliya town in Kalutara district.

Poojalena Āranya Sēnāsanaya was established in 1977. This Sēnāsanaya is affiliated with the Nā Uyana Āranya Sēnāsanaya and, is run in accordance with the objectives of Sri Kalyani Yogashrama Corporation.

Poojalena Senasuna consists of 18 caves and a complex of 12-room chambers for yogic monks. Also, this Āranya Sēnāsanaya has a cave temple, a shrine, and a library to study Dhamma.

As of today, about 15 meditative monks and several devotees who hope to enter the priesthood are living in this Āranya Sēnāsanaya.

This forest monastery is situated in a serene environment for aspirant laymen and priests practising “Nekkhamma” (giving up the world).

Cooking facilities and lodging rooms are available for devotees who want to stay overnight in the monastery to prepare meals (Dāna).
